A considered search across countries

Rishta for Overseas Pakistanis

Living outside Pakistan does not mean your family has to manage a rishta search without you. Use PakNisbat's public browsing to explore proposals, agree on a shortlist with trusted relatives and plan conversations around everyone's location and availability.

Agree on your search priorities before making inquiries

Discuss current country of residence, work or study commitments, family expectations and where a future household might be based. Do not assume that someone is willing or able to move simply because they are interested in an overseas proposal.

Use the existing browsing filters where they fit your preferences, then clarify cross-country circumstances directly during appropriate conversations. A profile or category label is not proof of overseas status or eligibility to live in another country.

Coordinate family participation across time zones

With both adults' agreement, choose a family contact on each side to help organise inquiries. Keep the people considering marriage involved in decisions rather than allowing a distant relative to make commitments for them.

When suggesting a call, state the date and local time for each country, accounting for daylight-saving changes where relevant. Share a short agenda and agree who will join; this avoids repeating sensitive discussions across several informal groups.

  • Agree on who can contact the other family and what they can share.
  • Choose times that work for the adults as well as their relatives.
  • Keep shared notes limited to agreed next steps, not a widely forwarded dossier.

Use initial video conversations to ask practical questions

Arrange a video conversation using a tool both sides agree on. It can help everyone discuss daily life, work, expectations and family involvement before booking travel. A video call is one useful check, not proof of identity, background or profile claims. Ask for consent before recording or sharing any conversation.

If information is inconsistent or a family avoids reasonable questions, slow down and seek independent clarification rather than treating a call as proof.

Plan travel without promising a marriage or relocation

Consider an in-person meeting only after useful conversations and appropriate checks. For a first meeting, choose a genuinely public place such as a busy café or restaurant, with trusted family members present; do not meet first at a private home. Discuss who will travel and whether dates and costs are manageable before making non-refundable bookings.

Check travel and entry requirements with the relevant official sources. PakNisbat access approval does not provide immigration assistance, guarantee relocation or establish anyone's visa or citizenship status. Keep marriage compatibility separate from assumptions about immigration.

Make independent checks before cross-country commitments

Distance can make references and in-person checks harder, so allow time to check identity, marital status and important claims through reliable independent channels, with appropriate consent. Trusted relatives may help ask questions locally, but their involvement alone is not verification.

Do not send money to a prospective match or share passport, identity-document or banking information under pressure. For legal or immigration questions, use appropriate independent professional advice rather than relying on a profile, video call or account approval.

Access, payment and safety

Guests can browse public proposal listings and basic profile information without registering. Contact details, income information and clear photos are restricted to approved accounts; individual proposal settings can also affect photo display.

To request access to restricted details, create a profile and submit the one-time PKR 5,000 payment by bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash through the existing payment process. Payment confirmation and account access approval are reviewed manually; paying does not instantly unlock access.

Payment confirmation and access approval do not verify a person's identity, background, marital status or profile claims. Make independent checks before sharing sensitive information or making commitments.

Common questions

How can I begin a PakNisbat search while living abroad?
Start by browsing public proposals and discussing a shortlist with trusted family members. You can register to create a profile and follow the existing payment and manual approval process if you want access to restricted details.
Does an approved account mean an overseas member's identity is verified?
No. Payment confirmation and access approval concern account access, not identity, overseas residence, background or profile accuracy. Check important information independently before making a commitment.
Does PakNisbat arrange visas or guarantee relocation?
No immigration assistance or relocation guarantee is offered on this page. Discuss future residence openly, check official requirements and obtain independent advice where needed.
